
Our Festivals
For over 50 years, Festivals brings locals and visitors together to celebrate the town’s culture, heritage, and seasonal traditions. Proceeds from the festivals support community projects, local businesses, and nonprofit initiatives, all enhancing Cedarburg’s unique character and sense of community.
February 21-22, 2026
Held annually on the third full weekend in February, this Festival celebrates the season with themed festivities, contests, and family-friendly activities. Winter Festival draws visitors from all over for a weekend of winter fun, community cheer, and unique entertainment.​

The K9 Carnival, held every July, is a fun-filled event celebrating all things pets with games, contests, demonstrations, and pet-friendly vendors. From agility courses to costume parades, the festival offers a great opportunity for pet lovers to gather, socialize, and support local animal organizations.

October 4 - 5, 2025
Held annually during the first full weekend of October, Oktoberfest is a lively Bavarian-style festival featuring traditional German food, beer, music, and dancing. Guests can enjoy authentic cuisine, stein-holding contests, polka bands, and family activities.

June 27 - 28, 2026
Strawberry Festival, held annually during the fourth full weekend of June, is a vibrant summer celebration featuring fresh strawberries, artisan vendors, live music, and family-friendly activities. Visitors can enjoy wine and beer gardens, and a festive atmosphere.
September 19 - 20, 2026
Held annually during the third full weekend of September, this Festival showcases local wines, seasonal produce, and artisan goods. With live music, grape stomping, food vendors, and a vibrant marketplace, the festival brings together locals and visitors to celebrate the beauty of Fall.

November - December 2025
During the Holiday season, the historic downtown transforms into a winter wonderland filled with lights, festive decorations, and holiday cheer. Visitors can enjoy carolers, a tree lighting ceremony, the annual Santa Dash Away 5K, Santa’s workshop and horse-drawn carriage rides. ​

Festivals will be held rain or shine! We only close down if instructed to do so by Cedarburg Emergency Services. Please be advised that severe conditions may delay or cancel performances/events.
Security
The following are not allowed within the Festival footprint: Outside alcohol Weapons (knives, pepper spray, or firearms) Pets (unless they are service animals).
pets
For the safety and comfort of all Festival attendees, please leave all pets at home (unless they are a certified service animal). If you attend with 4-legged friend, you may be asked to take them home. We would LOVE to see your pets during the K9 Carnival in July!
Accessibility
Due to the historic nature of Downtown Cedarburg, many buildings are not easily accessible for persons with mobility challenges or strollers.

Strawberry Festival and Wine & Harvest Festival are held on Washington Avenue between Bridge Road and Western Avenue, with the Family Area in Cedar Creek Park. The K9 Carnival and Octoberfest are held in front of the Cedarburg City Hall.
