Call it Winter Combat, call it Snow Dodgeball, or call it an Old Fashioned (sort of) Snowball Fight! No matter what you call it, it will be the most fun you’ll ever have with your friends, team-mates or co-workers. It’s called Yukigassen – Japanese for “Snow Battle."  This 20-year-old sport has landed in the U.S. like a 17-inch snowfall in Wisconsin!

The sport is for all ages and genders and follows a set of safe, fun and competitively sanctioned rules and regulations. You can play for fun to build camaraderie in the workplace with a co-ed team or get a serious group together to try and qualify for the National Championships to have the opportunity to represent the United States at the World Yukigassen Championships in Japan!….yeah….that’s right….there is such a thing!

Join in the fun at the 2nd Annual Snow Battle, sponsored by the Cedarburg Parks & Recreation Department.  Registration form coming soon.  Questions? Call 262-375-7611.
